Rude Mechs has been repeatedly ranked in the top three by the City of Austin for arts funding – ahead of other theatre companies with budgets over 20 times its size.
Rude Mechs is one of only a handful of regional theatre companies in the U.S. that is creating work that tours internationally.
We enjoy a loyal and ever-expanding audience base made up of academics, professionals, students, artists.
In twelve seasons, Rude Mechanicals has received over 180 nominations for artistic excellence from the Austin Critic’s Table Awards and the B. Iden Payne Awards, and other national awards, including the Total Theatre Award from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
And we share what we have with our community by co-producing works by local groups, conducting outreach and giving away tickets.

We recognize that our sponsorship packages may not fit the needs of every situation. We would be more than happy to discuss modifying any package of sponsor benefits to suit your particular promotional needs. Season sponsorships can be either cash or in-kind.
